Govuno is the record a board keeps: every meeting, vote, signature and contract, in Arabic and English, in its own country. It is made by Kode by Kraft, a software studio founded in London, and run for the Gulf from Abu Dhabi.
Why we built it
The decisions that matter most to a family business are often the worst recorded. Board papers go round on WhatsApp. Minutes sit in one person’s inbox. A vote is remembered differently by the people who were in the room. When the founder steps back, the memory of how the company was governed steps back with him.
The board platforms that existed were built for other markets. English first, Arabic as an afterthought, the Hijri date missing, hosted a continent away, and priced and sold for banks. Family groups, Nomu companies and charities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE were left with email.
So we built the record first for the Gulf: Arabic and English as equals, the Companies Law and the UAE’s company law built in rather than bolted on, hosting in the country the board sits in, and a product small enough to be set up around one organisation at a time.

Your bodies, seats, quorum rules and approval chains are entered as your articles say, not as a template assumes. Owners, members or family; board of directors or board of managers. The platform uses your words.
Built for you when needed
If your board works a way the platform does not support yet, we build it. Every organisation runs on the same secure core, so what we build for one is tested for all.
Hosted at home
Saudi boards are hosted in Riyadh and Emirati boards in the UAE. Each organisation is kept apart from every other, and nothing leaves the country.
On a call, not a checkout
We take you through a full board cycle on a call, as your chair, a director and the secretary, then agree a package that fits how your organisation is governed.
Who is behind it
Kode by Kraft is a small studio of engineers and designers. We have built platforms for charities, clinics and businesses in the United Kingdom, and Govuno is our first product built for the Gulf. The governance side is led by people who have run board software for listed companies and family groups in the region.
