Privacy notice

What we collect when you visit this website or use the demo, why, where it is kept, and how to reach us about it.

Who we are

Govuno is made and run by Kode by Kraft Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 16798677, registered office Unit 21, 384 Abbott Road, London E14 0UX, United Kingdom. We work from London and Abu Dhabi. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. Write to us at [email protected].

What this notice covers

This notice covers this website and the public demo at governance-demo.kodebykraft.com. When an organisation becomes a customer, its data is governed by the agreement we sign with it, which sets out where its record is hosted and who may see it. This notice does not cover that.

The website

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own servers, so no third party is told that you visited.

Our hosting provider, Railway, keeps standard server logs: the address your device connects from, the browser it uses and the pages it asks for. They are kept for a short period to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Asking for a demo

If you ask for a demo through the form, we use what you give us, your name, organisation, its type and country, your work email and, if you add it, your phone number, to get in touch and arrange it. That is the only use.

We keep those details while we are talking about a demo and for twelve months after our last exchange, then delete them, unless your organisation has become a customer by then. Demo requests are read by the Govuno team in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

The demo

The demo is a fictional organisation, Nawaar Family Holding, with invented people and documents. You sign in by choosing one of its roles. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name or email.

The demo sets one cookie, gov_session, which keeps you signed in for up to twelve hours and holds nothing else. It is needed for the demo to work, so there is no consent banner for it.

Anything you type into the demo can be seen by other visitors using it at the same time, and the whole demo returns to its starting state every hour. Do not enter real names, documents or contract terms. The demo runs on servers in the Netherlands operated by Railway, and it holds no customer data.

The assistant in the demo

The demo includes an assistant that answers questions about the fictional organisation. It is switched on for guided demos. When it is on, the questions you type and the demo records it reads to answer them are sent to Anthropic, whose model writes the reply, under its commercial terms, which do not permit it to use that data to train its models. Nothing you type to the assistant is kept beyond the hourly reset.

Email

The website and the demo send no email. Any message you receive from us about a demo is written by a person.

Where data is kept and who sees it

Website logs and the demo are hosted in the European Union. Demo requests are read by the Govuno team in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers named in this notice, who process it on our instructions.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our using it, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within a month. If you are in the United Kingdom you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; if you are in Saudi Arabia or the UAE, to the data protection authority there. We apply the same rights to everyone, wherever they are.

Children

The website and the demo are for people acting for an organisation. They are not aimed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what we do with data you have already given us will be told to you directly.

This notice is written in plain language. Where the Arabic and English texts differ, the English text applies.
